Google Business Profile management

Google My Business management, done every month

When someone nearby searches for what you do, the map comes before the websites. Your profile is set up properly once, then kept up to date every month: categories, services, photos, posts and answers to questions.

The CoLaz Aesthetics Clinic Hounslow listing on Google Maps: 4.6 stars from 450 reviews, address, opening hours, phone and website

The problem

The listing most clinics set up once and never touch again

Google renamed Google My Business to Google Business Profile, but for most clinics nothing else has changed since the day it was claimed. One category, no services listed, the photographs from opening week, opening hours that were right two Christmases ago, and a question from a stranger that nobody answered.

That listing is often the first thing a patient sees, before your website and sometimes instead of it. A half-filled profile does not look like a busy clinic. It looks like one that might have closed.

How it works

How it actually works

01

Fixed properly in the first month

The right main and secondary categories, every treatment listed as a service, a description written for patients, current photographs, correct hours and a booking link that goes to the right place.

02

Kept up to date every month

New photographs and posts, holiday hours before the holiday, questions answered, and anything Google or a stranger has changed put right. A profile that is touched regularly reads as a business that is open.

03

Working with the review funnel

The review funnel keeps new Google reviews arriving. This keeps the profile they land on worth reading. The two do the same job from different ends.

The point of it

What it does for you

When somebody nearby looks you up, they find a listing that is complete, current and recently active, with your treatments named, real photographs and a way to book. Nobody can promise you a position on the map, and I will not. What I can do is make sure yours is the profile that has been looked after.

  • Categories, services and description set up properly
  • Photographs, posts and hours kept current every month
  • Questions answered and stray edits put right
  • A booking link that goes where it should

Where this sits

It is not sold separately.

This is one of nine things in one package at £297 a month. There is no upgrade tier and no add-on menu, so there is nothing to work out and nothing to be moved onto in six months.

Questions

What people ask about this one.

Is this the same as Google My Business?

Yes. Google renamed Google My Business to Google Business Profile. It is the same listing, the one that shows on the map and beside the search results.

Do I lose control of my profile?

No. The profile stays in your name and you stay the owner. I am added as a manager, which you can remove whenever you like.

Are directory listings included?

Local citations are extra, and optional. These are your listings on UK business directories, and they help you show up in local search. They cost a small monthly amount, usually £15 to £40, paid straight to the listings service, not to me.

Will it get me into the top three on the map?

I cannot promise that, and anyone who does is guessing. Distance from the person searching counts for a lot, and nobody can change where your clinic is. A complete, active profile with steady reviews gives you the best chance you have.

Thirty minutes, and you will know if it is worth it.

No obligation, and nothing to pay to have the conversation.
